About the Role

As an Automation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in defining automation strategies, building and leading a high-performing team, and delivering impactful solutions for clients. This role combines management, engineering, and innovation to drive efficiency, scalability, and measurable client value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the automation strategy for managed services operations.
  • Design and oversee scalable automation platforms to enhance service delivery.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact automation opportunities for clients and internal operations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Establish technical standards for quality, performance, and security in automation solutions.
  • Integrate observability, monitoring, and AI-driven enhancements into managed services.
  • Collaborate with delivery and client teams to ensure seamless and impactful automation deployments.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in automation and AI technologies to drive innovation.
  • Provide training and support to team members on automation tools and methodologies.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in automation or related fields, with a focus on delivering solutions for managed service operations (e.g., infrastructure operations, incident handling, operational efficiency improvements).
    • 2+ years of experience in technical management, including mentoring team members and guiding best practices.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Knowledge in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash for automation operations management.
    • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
    • Experience automating cloud operations and implementing workflow orchestration tools (e.g., n8n) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
    • Familiarity with security best practices and observability platforms like Splunk.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Proven track record of delivering automation solutions that drive measurable client ROI.
    • Operational experience with direct client engagement, including solution design and delivery.
    • Agile leadership mindset with a collaborative and continuous-improvement approach.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Knowledge of AI concepts such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI is a plus.
