Job Responsibilities

Kotlin Developer

  • Design and develop backend applications using the Kotlin and/or Java Springboot Webflux.

  • Responsible for timely documentation of technical design and specifications in accordance with the business specifications.

  • Ensure timely completion of application coding within project schedule.

  • Compliance of development functions to System Development Guideline and Standards.

  • Quality in development and implementation in fulfilling system specifications and user requirements.

  • Collaborate with other frontend developers, and other external parties during development lifecycle.

  • Software development fundamentals, including build and unit test, troubleshooting, and version control.

Flutter Developer:

  • Working closely in a cross-functional team with members of other groups in the business to deliver fixes and features on time and on budget.

  • Providing advice on mobile development related issues to the rest of the business.

  • Performing PR reviews and communicating your work to the wider development team.

  • Performing PR reviews and mentoring more junior members of the team.

  • Managing feature delivery and release for your team.

  • Providing input into architecture and specification.

  • Maintaining our toolsets and deployment pipelines.

  • Writing about our work for the outside world in blogs, white papers and so forth.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

  • Experience in cross-platform mobile applications development.

  • Good understanding and experience in microservice architecture and cloud development.

  • Experience in DEVSECOPS methodology practices and tools.

  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills as well as detail oriented.

  • Good in verbal and written English communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritizing in managing workloads and to meet deadlines.

  • Familiar with and/or have experience with Agile development projects.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience in Insurance Industry is an added advantage

Kotlin Developer

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Kotlin, Springboot Webflux for backend service development

Flutter Developer:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software development in Flutter.

  • Ability to work on iOS or Android development (preferably both).
