Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve incidents, contributing to the overall reliability and performance of essential business applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and improve system processes.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to prevent future issues.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting security event data to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Strong knowledge of incident management and root cause analysis within complex IT environments.
- Ability to configure and optimize SIEM tools to enhance monitoring and alerting capabilities.
- Familiarity with log management, data correlation, and security event investigation techniques.
- Skilled in collaborating with security and IT teams to implement effective response strategies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
