Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with team members to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to create effective software applications, contributing to the overall success of projects and the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: 1.Install, configure, administer, and maintain the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform across development, testing, and production environments in both on-premises and cloud POD management in AWS/Azure/GCP. 2.Manage user accounts, roles, licenses, and access controls to ensure secure and efficient platform usage. 3.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular health checks to ensure high availability and optimal performance. 4.Coordinate and execute platform upgrades, patches, and migrations in collaboration with internal teams and Dassault Systemes support. 5.Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and operational workflows. 6.Proactively identify and resolve system bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and integration issues. 7.Knowledge on automation / report generation / DS SR / ER Management. 8.Good Hands on in DSLS License Trigram management. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. End-to-End 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Administration (R2023x+) Setup, configure, patch, and upgrade DEV/TEST/PROD environments. Troubleshoot performance, search, and stability issues across ENOVIA, CATIA, SIMULIA, and 3DSpace services. 2. Infrastructure & System Operations Manage OS (Windows/Linux), databases (SQL Server/Oracle), and app servers (Tomcat/Apache) — including tuning, log analysis, resource monitoring, and resolving infrastructure-related failures. 3. Security, Access & Network Management Integrate LDAP/AD/SSO, configure firewalls, SSL/TLS, load balancers, and network settings to ensure secure, high-performance access and resolve connectivity or authentication issues. 4. Automation, Deployment & Source Control Automate deployments, backups, health checks, and DR procedures using scripting (Python/PowerShell/Shell) and CI/CD pipelines. Manage code/configurations via Git/SVN with version control and rollback support. 5. Disaster Recovery & Platform Resilience Design, test, and execute backup/recovery and DR plans — ensuring minimal downtime, data integrity, and rapid restoration of platform services and customizations. Additional Information: 1) 2 to 4 years of progressive hands-on experience in administering the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in a corporate or enterprise environment. 2) Proven track record in supporting cross-functional teams using 3DX for product lifecycle management (PLM), design, or simulation. 3) Experience working in agile or structured IT project environments with change and release management processes. 4) Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. 5) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. 6) Certification in 3DEXPERIENCE administration (e.g., Dassault Systemes certification) is a plus. 7) This position is based at our Chennai office. 8) A 15-year full time education is required.
