Summary:
As a Business Process Architect, a typical day involves analyzing existing workflows and designing innovative business processes that align with organizational goals. This role requires creating detailed documentation to support the implementation of new processes and technologies. The professional collaborates closely with various business units to understand their needs and translate them into clear product requirements and use cases. Additionally, the role includes participating in user and task analysis to ensure that business needs are accurately represented and addressed throughout the project lifecycle, fostering seamless integration of solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in S/4HANA MM Materials Management.
Provide solutions to issues impacting multiple teams, collaborate across functions, and actively contribute to key decision-making while being accountable for team-level outcomes.
Apply strong analytical skills to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
Lead workshops and meetings to collect insights and stakeholder feedback.
Develop detailed documentation outlining business processes and requirements
Professional & Technical Skills:
Proficiency in S/4HANA SAP MM Materials Management.
Experience with data migration and cutover activities.
Knowledge of product sourcing, central procurement, and vendor evaluation.
Hands-on experience with core P2P processes, master data, transaction data, and special scenarios such as consignment, subcontracting, and STO (Inter/Intra-Company).
Strong understanding of inventory management processes, including inbound/outbound activities, internal movements, STOs, and physical inventory.
Exposure to advanced functionalities such as product sourcing, central procurement, supplier evaluation, and embedded analytics.
Skilled in process mapping, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration
Familiarity with project management practices to support timely project execution
Experience in Automotive industry & Exposure to Agentic AI would be an added advantage
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management.
This position is based at our Chennai office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
