Key responsibilities:
At least 6+ years of expertise in supporting and enhancing SAP systems, specifically focused on the CMES (Common Manufacturing Execution System) platform.
Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, forms, interfaces, and workflows to support CMES-based manufacturing execution processes.
Design and implement SAP FIORI applications to enhance the user experience for CMES operations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support the integration of CMES with other SAP modules and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMES processes and technical components in a timely manner.
Perform system testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure reliability and efficiency of CMES-related SAP applications.
Provide technical documentation, including program specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to continuously improve system performance and user satisfaction.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on manufacturing execution systems such as CMES.
Proficiency in SAP FIORI application development, including SAPUI5, OData services, and Gateway architecture.
Strong understanding of manufacturing execution processes and their integration with SAP systems.
Expertise in ABAP programming techniques, such as ALV reporting, BAPI, BADI, user exits, enhancement spots, and Smart Forms/SAP Scripts.
Experience with system integration technologies such as IDOC, RFC, and Web Services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry is a strong advantage.
Proven experience with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, or QM that integrate with CMES processes.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments is highly desirable.
Management Units for packing-based logistics structures.
Familiarity with other ECC SAP modules such as MM, PP, or QM that integrate with CMES processes
Certification in SAP ABAP development or SAP FIORI application development is a plus.
