Quality Engineering Lead
Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating cross-functional planning and integrating various systems to enhance delivery speed and ensure high standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring and managing testing activities, evaluating key performance indicators related to test execution and defect management, and fostering collaboration among team members to maintain consistent quality outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead efforts to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
- Mentor and support junior team members to build their skills and knowledge in quality engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches to testing within the team.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools to design and implement effective test scripts.
- Experience in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software applications.
- Ability to analyze test results and identify areas for improvement in both automation and manual testing processes.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing efforts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize testing workflows.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
