Summary:
Business Analyst (Life Sciences R&D)
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Life Sciences R&D, supporting domains such as Clinical, Regulatory, and/or Patient Safety. The role is responsible for managing business requirements, change requests, and system enhancements across R&D IT applications, ensuring effective translation of business needs into scalable, compliant solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Life Sciences, hands on exposure to R&D IT systems, and proven ability to work closely with application configuration and support teams to coordinate the design, development, and delivery of system features and changes. Proficiency with change and delivery management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow is essential.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead end to end requirements management, including enhancements, defect fixes, and change requests
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, application configuration teams, and support teams
- Coordinate the development, testing, and delivery of features and system changes
- Support prioritization, impact assessment, and traceability of requirements across R&D systems
- Manage and track changes using Jira and ServiceNow
- Ensure solutions align with R&D processes, regulatory expectations, and validated system environments
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis.
- Good To Have Skills: Life Sciences R&D, Veeva Vault, Life Sciences Industry.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Ability to document and communicate complex business requirements clearly and effectively.
- Experience in conducting stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather detailed information.
- Familiarity with process modeling and business process reengineering techniques.
Additional Information:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Life Sciences, supporting R&D domains (Clinical, Regulatory, Safety)
- Experience working with R&D IT applications in regulated environments
- Strong skills in business analysis, stakeholder management, and process understanding
- Proficiency in change and delivery management tools (Jira, ServiceNow)
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross functional coordination capabilities
- A 15 years full time education is required.
