Project Role : Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the entire application lifecycle. The role focuses on integrating various disciplines to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of quality. Daily activities include continuous testing across multiple domains such as security and application programming interfaces, developing and refining automation strategies, and supporting the configuration of data and environments. The position also involves active participation in code reviews, defect monitoring, and reporting to foster ongoing improvements in testing processes, ensuring robust and reliable software delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to define and implement automation frameworks that align with project goals and quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on testing objectives and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing processes.
- Familiarity with various testing types including regression, security, and API testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Skilled in configuring test environments and managing test data to simulate real-world scenarios.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
