Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve incidents, contributing to uninterrupted business processes and enhanced system performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Continuously evaluate and improve support processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Experience in database performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and security management.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, installation, configuration, and patching.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and optimize system resources.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline database administration tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
