Summary:
As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous interaction and coordination to ensure that data models are accurate, efficient, and support the organization's objectives. The Data Modeler plays a vital role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation through detailed data modeling activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements for effective data modeling.
- Ensure data models are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with organizational standards and best practices.
- Assist in documenting data models and maintaining data dictionaries to support data governance initiatives.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing knowledge to foster professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience in designing and implementing data models that optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data integration techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data quality and consistency across platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing environments.
- Skilled in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
