Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient applications. The engineer applies modern development methodologies and frameworks to meet evolving business requirements, continuously improving software performance and functionality. Collaboration and adaptability are key, as the engineer balances multiple tasks to support project goals and deliver high-quality results within dynamic environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Provide AMS support for SAC dashboards, stories, and data models.
-Troubleshoot data discrepancies, connectivity issues, and refresh failures across SAC solutions.
-Conduct root cause analysis and implement fixes for incidents within defined SLAs.
-Support monthly and quarterly operational and financial reporting cycles.
-Develop new analytics solutions that align with stakeholder and business requirements.
-Integrate SAC with SAP S/4HANA using live connections, OData services, and BW/BW4HANA datasets.
-Collaborate with functional teams to design user centric reporting frameworks and data models.
-Coordinate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure end-to-end data quality and governance.
-Participate in enhancement evaluations and solution design workshops.
-Document solution architectures, development standards, and operational procedures.
-Support special analytics projects and ad hoc reporting requests.
-Participate in system upgrades, connection migrations, and regression testing.
-Explore new SAC features and recommend continuous improvements.
-SLA compliance for incidents and service requests
-Accuracy and timeliness of reporting outputs
-Stability and performance of SAC dashboards
-Stakeholder satisfaction with analytics solutions
-Number and quality of delivered enhancements or new SAC functionalities
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: 5–8 years of experience in SAP BI/Analytics.
-Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) development experience.
-Experience working in AMS/support environments.
-Strong exposure to financial and operational reporting processes.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing custom analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Ability to integrate SAP Analytics Cloud with other enterprise systems and data sources.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation within the SAP Analytics Cloud environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing performance of analytics applications.
- Knowledge of data modeling and visualization techniques relevant to SAP Analytics Cloud.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud Development.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
