As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves overseeing the implementation of quality processes and utilizing automation tools to enhance testing products and solutions. The role requires managing the entire quality engineering function with a strong emphasis on automation to ensure improved control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position involves continuous monitoring and refining of testing strategies to support the delivery of reliable and efficient software solutions, fostering collaboration across various teams to maintain high standards of quality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and contribute effectively to project goals.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on quality objectives and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Test Management.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test case management systems to maintain comprehensive test documentation.
- Skilled in collaborating with development and operations teams to integrate testing activities within the software development lifecycle.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Test Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
