Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, you will enable full-stack quality engineering solutions through multi-disciplinary collaboration and ecosystem integration. You will play a key role in accelerating delivery and driving quality across the application lifecycle.
In this role, you will go beyond script development to design, build, and scale a robust automation framework using Playwright as the core testing tool. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset with strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript-based automation frameworks and enterprise-level implementation.
Your responsibilities will include continuous testing (functional, API, regression, and security), building automation strategies, and integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality releases.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in test automation and quality engineering.
-Lead the design and development of scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to key technical decisions.
-Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for continuous testing.
-Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts across UI, API, and regression layers.
-Build reporting and observability dashboards for test execution and quality metrics.
-Participate in code reviews, defect tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
-Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and mentor team members.
-Maintain comprehensive documentation for testing processes and frameworks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
-Must Have: Strong proficiency in Automated Testing with Playwright
Hands-on experience with TypeScript (preferred) / JavaScript
-Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch
-Good to Have: Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
-Experience in API testing and integration testing
-Knowledge of test reporting tools and dashboards
-Familiarity with performance and security testing methodologies
-Understanding of DevOps and Continuous Testing practices

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- The candidate should be willing to work from client location in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days a week.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
