Summary:
As a Technology Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and establishing both production and non-production cloud environments tailored to project or product requirements. This role includes deploying automation pipelines to streamline the creation and configuration of these environments, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain and enhance the platform infrastructure, supporting the overall technology ecosystem within the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices in environment setup and automation to improve reliability and scalability.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align platform capabilities with evolving project needs.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and environment provisioning tools.
- Experience with automation frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex platform-related issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with configuration management and infrastructure as code principles.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
