Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will be responsible for understanding the requirements and translating them into effective software designs, ensuring that the solutions are not only functional but also efficient and user-friendly.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Play the solution architect role on Kinaxis implementation projects.
Engage with client stakeholders to understand requirements, carry out fit-gap analysis, design and document solution and guide configuration team to implement the solution.
Drive conversations with client business stakeholders.
Work with development functions- business lines- product teams and technology stakeholders to derive the technology future state and roadmaps.
Drive designs that balance business efficiency- system performance- security and compliance whilst conforming to architectural and security standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience of implementing Kinaxis and similar other SCM software solutions in client environment.
Should have played Solution Architect role in at least 2 Kinaxis implementation projects.
Strong functional knowledge and experience in the following Rapid Response applications: Supply Planning, Capacity Planning (Constraints), DRP, MPS, Demand Planning and Order Fulfillment
Must have strong design and software configuration skills and good command over data models.
Must have knowledge of integrating Kinaxis with SAP/Oracle/legacy systems
Must have implementation experience in configuring Demand Planning and Supply Planning modules
Must have completed Rapid Response Author Level 2 certification
Strong collaborator, team player and individual contributor. Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders.
Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and drive progress.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
Desire to work in an information systems environment
Additional Information:
Any relevant supply chain certifications like CSCP will be a plus
Rapid Response Solution Consultant / Solution Architect certification will be a plus
Excellent communication written and oral and interpersonal skills.
Open to travel - short / long term
A 15 years full time education is required.
