Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Key responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development, with specific expertise in HCL iMRO and SAP Fiori.
Develop, customize, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows to support production planning, ERP and material master business processes.
Design and implement SAP ABAP applications, ensuring a user-friendly and efficient interface for ECC end-users with transferability to future SAP S/4HANA model.
Conduct technical analysis to identify and resolve issues and performance bottlenecks in logistics-related SAP functionalities.
Collaborate closely with functional teams to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
Ensure adherence to best practices in SAP development, including proper documentation, version control, and testing procedures.
Work within an Agile development framework, providing input on project timelines and deliverables.
Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless system performance.
Stay updated on the latest developments in SAP technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system functionality and user experience.
Work with change and configuration management teams on transport and movement of new functionality into the system.
Maintain clear and concise documentation of development activities, solutions, and configurations.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development
Experience in integration technologies such as IDOC, RFC, and Web Services.
Strong knowledge of ABAP programming techniques, including ALV reporting, BAPI, BADI, Smart Forms, and SAP Scripts, ADOBE Forms
Experience with SAP enhancement frameworks, including user exits and enhancement spots.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and deliver effective solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in the Aerospace or Defense industry is a plus.
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
Certification in SAP ABAP or SAP FIORI development is a plus.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end components.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in SAP FIORI application development, including knowledge of OData services, SAPUI5, and Gateway.
Familiarity with the RapidResponse software published by Kinaxis.
Strong knowledge of production planning and MRP modules.
Solid understanding of SAP logistics modules such as MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning) and others.
