Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business requirements. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure that the software solutions are tailored to the unique needs of the organization, contributing to the overall success of projects and initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance. - Continuously assess and improve software development processes to ensure efficiency and quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning. - Ability to write high-quality test scenarios and test cases - Strong analytical skills for identifying test coverage and/or risk-based testing - Able to define positive, negative, boundary, and alternate flows - Can understand User Stories or BRD - Domain Knowledge - Has experience working in any financial industry so designer can understand corporate banking and will be easier to design test cases - Can coordinate with BA, Dev, Client for any clarification/questions or can provide test case walkthrough to client - Experience in Test management tools (i.e Jira with Xray) Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Functional Test Planning. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
