Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your day revolves around leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications tailored to meet project requirements. You serve as the main liaison for stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Your role involves overseeing technical aspects, troubleshooting challenges, and guiding the team to deliver effective software solutions that align with business objectives. This position demands a proactive approach to managing tasks and collaborating with various teams to achieve project milestones efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software solutions.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and project understanding.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (EPPDS), SAP SCM APO Advanced Planning & Optimization, SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Good To Have Skills: SAP SCM APO Advanced Planning & Optimization, SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling processes within SAP environments.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP S/4HANA modules to meet specific business needs.
- Ability to analyze complex system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP S/4HANA and other supply chain management tools.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (EPPDS).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
