Role: EMC SAN Storage Administrator Role Description: Storage Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of EMC storage systems. This role involves ensuring optimal performance, availability, and scalability of storage infrastructure, supporting both business-critical applications and backup/recovery operations. Must have 4+ years of experience on Storage technology Must Have Skills: EMC SAN and NAS – Isilon, Power Max, VNX, Unity, VMAX, SAN switches Good to Have Skills: HP Storage Job Requirements Key Responsibilities: • Candidate should be able to deliver L2 operations on EMC Storage systems SAN and NAS • Administration of EMC storage systems including configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning. • Responsible for implementing and managing the enterprise storage environment. • Responsible for performing production support activities for assigned storage systems to ensure the integrity and availability of the environment. • Perform supporting file sharing and the integration of enterprise storage with Microsoft Windows, Linux and VMWare virtual server environment. • Plan and implement best practices for NAS and SAN solutions. • Create and update documentation for storage procedures. Technical Experience: • Should have sound experience in EMC VNX, Unity, PowerScale, Vmax, High Availability, Disk technologies, RAID Levels, Pools • Good Knowledge on SAN and NAS • Good knowledge on CIFS, NFS, ISCSI, FCP protocols. • Experience with Replication technologies. • Experience with Brocade and Cisco SAN Switches. • Supporting and troubleshooting Storage LUN creation, provisioning, SAN Switch zoning and administration in a large, complex and widely distributed environment. • Plan and implement best practices for NAS and SAN solutions. • Provide status and progress reports for NAS and SAN environment related activities and tasks on regular/periodic basis. • Should have knowledge about the ITIL framework. Professional Attributes: • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills. • Strong time management skills, problem solving and analytical skills. • Due to the 24X7 operations of the business, must be able to work a flexible work schedule, may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Educational Qualification: • 15 years of mandatory education as per Accenture Standards.
