Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Django Developer to join our Shared Platform team supporting Corporate Tooling solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python-based web application development using Django, along with front-end technologies such as JavaScript and jQuery. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications deployed on Linux environments with MS SQL as the backend database. The candidate should be capable of working across the full software development lifecycle and delivering high-quality enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using Python and Django.
- Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop and optimize backend services and APIs to support corporate tooling applications.
- Work with MS SQL database for schema design, query development, and performance tuning.
- Deploy and maintain applications in Linux server environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Perform code reviews, ensure coding standards, and enforce best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across front-end and back-end systems.
- Participate in system design discussions, architecture reviews, and technical planning.
- Support testing, deployment, and production release activities.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance optimization.
Required Skills:
- 6-9 years of experience in full stack web development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django framework.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience working with MS SQL Server databases.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
- Experience deploying and maintaining applications in Linux server environments.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with performance tuning and scalability optimization.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience in enterprise corporate tooling or internal platform development environments.
