Functional Business Analyst/Test Analyst
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity of requirements
• Perform gap analysis and recommend process or system improvements to enhance business outcomes
• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans including system, integration, user acceptance, and regression testing
• Manage defect tracking, resolution, and reporting to ensure quality standards are met
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate validation and sign-off processes
• Assist in deployment activities and provide post-go-live support to ensure smooth system transition
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Required Qualifications
• Up to 3 years of experience in a functional analyst or similar role
• Exposure to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation tasks
• Experience with testing and defect management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to working with cross-functional and global teams
• Understanding of business process modeling or documentation tools
