About the Role

We are seeking a senior Finance Reinvention Partner to lead our CFO and Finance transformation agenda in New Zealand.

This is a market-facing leadership role working directly with CFOs and enterprise finance leaders to shape and deliver next-generation finance functions—spanning FP&A transformation, enterprise performance management, and AI-enabled finance.

You will combine strategic advisory, transformation leadership, and commercial ownership to help clients unlock greater insight, agility, and value from their finance function.

What You Will Do

CFO Advisory & Strategic Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Group FP&A, and senior finance leaders

  • Shape enterprise-wide finance strategy, operating models, and transformation roadmaps

  • Lead C-level discussions on performance, cost optimisation, and decision-making

Lead FP&A & Performance Transformation

  • Lead end-to-end FP&A reinvention including driver-based planning, scenario modelling, integrated business planning, and performance management frameworks

  • Improve forecast accuracy, decision-making speed, and business insight

Deliver Finance Transformation at Scale

  • Lead or oversee large, complex finance transformation programmes

  • Align process, technology, data, and operating model change

  • Drive adoption of modern finance capabilities including AI and automation

Build & Grow Finance Capability (NZ)

  • Build and lead Finance Reinvention capability in New Zealand

  • Collaborate across strategy, technology, and operations teams

Growth & Commercial Leadership

  • Originate, shape, and close finance transformation opportunities

  • Build long-term client relationships at CFO and executive level

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Significant experience in finance transformation and CFO advisory

  • Deep expertise in FP&A and enterprise performance management

  • Proven track record leading large transformation programmes

Capabilities

  • Understanding of modern finance operating models and digital finance

  • Experience across ERP and planning platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan)

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels

Leadership Profile

  • Executive presence with ability to influence at C-suite level

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to win work

  • Collaborative and team-oriented leadership style
