Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Murex Developer to support and enhance Front Office (FO) and Back Office (BO) functionalities within treasury and trading environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Murex platforms, trade lifecycle management, and production support activities. This role involves collaborating with business users, treasury teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions for trading operations and financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and support Murex Front Office and Back Office solutions.
- Analyze business requirements related to treasury and trading operations and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support trade lifecycle processes including trade capture, trade simulation, valuation, and settlement workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, defects, and production incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Perform system enhancements, configuration updates, and integration support activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, traders, operations teams, and infrastructure teams for project delivery and support.
- Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production validation.
- Monitor application performance and optimize SQL queries and batch processes where required.
- Prepare technical documentation, release notes, and support reports.
- Ensure compliance with operational, audit, and security standards in financial systems environments.
Required Skills:
- 6-9 years of experience in Murex development and support within treasury or capital markets environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Murex Front Office (FO) functionalities.
- Experience working with SQL Server 2012 databases.
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2012 environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in trade lifecycle management and financial systems support.
- Ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in Treasury Front Office operations and workflows.
- Knowledge of trade simulation and Trade P&L processes.
- Exposure to Back Office processing and reconciliation activities.
- Familiarity with financial products including FX, derivatives, fixed income, or money market instruments.
- Experience with production support and release management in trading systems environments.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and banking technology standards.
