Equipment Lead
The Equipment Manager will oversee equipment needs for the assigned studios in US and throughout the duration of the clients and projects, while interacting with production teams and providing the highest level of service. The position will provide and maintain a standard of excellence for the Equipment team members supporting photo/video equipment for clients daily. Furthermore, this position is responsible for maintaining each studio’s in-house inventory of equipment and coordinating rental orders with vendors to fulfill client projects.
The Work:
- Supervise the un-packing and re-packing of each studio/set for the following day and/or project.
- Manage the lighting and grip orders, staging, and testing of all equipment in studio
- Organize with production and clients during check-out and check-in process of grip and lighting equipment at the studio or on location
- Establish and maintain standards for equipment staging, organization, and workflows across studios.
- Lead inventory tracking, audits, and reconciliation processes to ensure accurate counts of all EQ assets. Make sure equipment is properly logged, tracked, and assigned in systems (e.g., RentalWorks), in line with established SOPs.
- Supervise and support EQ Assistants or contractors, providing guidance, training, and prioritization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure EQ workspace always. Ensure adherence to all EQ SOPs, studio safety standards, and equipment security protocols.
- Properly assessing and ordering equipment repairs or replacements as needed
- Oversee that all work areas and set are maintained and orderly at all times
- Ensure that all sub-rented gear is picked up from and returned to the correct vendors
- Provide customer service to clients, internal production, and creative teams by fulfilling digital service requests accurately and promptly
- Manage delivery for all equipment orders with rental houses and local team for both in-studio and off-site production locations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year of experience with digital photography/videography studio or equipment assistance
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Canon and Profoto systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- MAC knowledge preferred, experience with Microsoft Office a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with both full production and the rental business
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
