Investment (Implementation) Analyst
Purpose of the Role
The Investment Analyst role is an entry‑level position (circa 0–1 years’ experience) for someone beginning their career in media investment, analytics, and market analysis, with a strong interest in data, technology, and media decision‑making. Working closely with an Investment Manager and the wider Investment team, the role supports the day‑to‑day analysis, reporting, and coordination of media investment activity across channels. This includes assisting with data validation, maintaining investment trackers, supporting pricing and performance analysis, and capturing learnings to inform future investment decisions. The ideal candidate is numerate, detail‑oriented, comfortable working with data, and eager to build foundational knowledge of media markets and investment processes.
Critically, this role will evolve alongside new ways of working, including increased use of AI tools and agents across the media investment process. The individual will be supported through structured learning and development to follow best‑practice processes, use tools responsibly, and contribute ideas that improve efficiency, transparency, and decision‑making over time.
Key Responsibilities
Support day‑to‑day media investment activity under the guidance of an Investment Manager, including analysis, reporting, and administrative support.
Assist with maintaining investment trackers, spreadsheets, and basic models to support pricing, pacing, and performance visibility.
Support use of AI tools and agents for defined tasks (e.g. data checks, reporting inputs, market research), following established governance.
Validate data inputs and outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports, trackers, and presentations.
Assist in preparing regular reporting outputs, highlighting key movements, anomalies, and observations for review.
Collaborate with planning, buying, finance, and account teams to support timely delivery of inputs and outputs.
Support WIPs, QBRs, and internal reviews by preparing data extracts, charts, and summaries.
Contribute to improved ways of working through documentation, templates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
0–1 years’ experience in media, marketing, analytics, finance, or a related graduate or early‑career role.
Strong numerical skills and comfort working with spreadsheets, data sets, and performance metrics.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Curiosity and willingness to learn about media investment and market dynamics.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style.
Interest in technology and AI, with openness to learning new tools and ways of working.
