Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Developer to support and enhance CPM solutions using SAS platforms. The role involves developing data pipelines, supporting production systems, and ensuring seamless integration between systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAS Viya/SAS 9.4, strong programming skills, and exposure to production support and cross-system connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data solutions using SAS Viya and SAS 9.4
- Write and optimize SAS programs for data processing, transformation, and reporting
- Support production environments, including incident resolution and performance tuning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems and workflows
- Set up and maintain connectivity between systems and data sources
- Work with network teams to configure firewall rules and ensure secure communication
- Monitor and manage batch jobs using scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M)
- Utilize version control and CI/CD tools for code deployment and management
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for data-related issues
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in SAS programming (SAS Viya and SAS 9.4)
- Knowledge of SAS CAS (Cloud Analytic Services)
- Proficiency in Python and/or R for data processing
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Aldon, and Control-M
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and batch processing
- Experience in production support environments
- Knowledge of system integration and connectivity setup
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience leading or supporting production teams
- Exposure to Corporate Performance Management (CPM) systems
- Understanding of networking concepts and firewall configurations
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in financial services or data-driven environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
