Responsibilities: As a Master Data, you will be responsible for analyzing the organization and designing its processes and systems. This includes assessing the business model and its integration with technology, evaluating the current state, identifying customer requirements, and defining the future state and/or business solution. You will engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions, expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate, and manage the team to perform effectively. Advanced proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) is required. Additionally, advanced proficiency in other relevant skills is recommended. Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders. Develop detailed documentation that outlines business processes and system specifications. Utilize data analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights for process improvements. Support the implementation of solutions by coordinating with technical teams and ensuring user acceptance testing. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes and drive efficiency within the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Master Data, Data Management, or SAP functional consulting roles
  • Strong experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), including at least one master data domain (Customer, Vendor, Material, Business Partner, or Finance)
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), including master data objects and end‑to‑end business processes
  • Solid understanding of master data governance concepts, data quality, validation rules, and lifecycle management
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, current-state assessment, and future-state solution design
  • Experience facilitating business and functional workshops to gather requirements and align stakeholders
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system documentation
  • Experience supporting implementation, testing, and UAT, in collaboration with technical and functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data analysis to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical audiences

Preferred / Nice to Have Qualifications

  • Hands-on configuration experience in SAP MDG (data models, workflows, validation rules, reuse areas)
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC master data concepts
  • Exposure to integration of master data with SD, MM, FI, or other SAP modules
  • Experience with data migration, cleansing, and mass data loads (e.g., LSMW, BAPI, BODS)
  • SAP certification in MDG, SD, or related functional modules
  • Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or global delivery environments
  • Ability to mentor junior team members or act as a subject matter expert within the workstream
