SAP Project Systems & Plant Maintenance Lead
About the Role
As an SAP PSPM Lead, you will drive the end-to-end business processes / workstream, focusing on SAP Project Systems (PS) and Plant Maintenance (PM). You will lead the design, integration, and delivery of scalable solutions that enable efficient project execution, asset lifecycle management, and financial transparency across enterprise operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end business processes / workstream, covering SAP Project Systems (PS) and SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) within S/4HANA programs
- Design and configure PS structures, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), networks, milestone billing, and resource-related billing
- Drive project financial management processes, including cost planning, tracking, and integration with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
- Design and implement SAP PM solutions, including equipment master data, maintenance plans, preventive and corrective maintenance, and service management processes
- Ensure seamless integration across modules, including PS with SD, FI/CO, and HCM/Payroll, and PM with logistics and asset-related processes
- Act as the integration lead across key value streams, aligning with other processes / workstreams like Order-to-Cash, Hire-to-Retire, and Record-to-Report
- Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops, solution validation sessions, and design discussions to align stakeholders and drive decision-making
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore locations to deliver high-quality outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in SAP, with strong expertise in Project Systems (PS) and Plant Maintenance (PM)
- Proven track record of leading workstreams in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation or transformation program
- Strong understanding of project billing, revenue recognition, and project financial management processes
- Experience in cross-module integration, particularly with FI/CO, SD, and HCM
- Demonstrated ability to lead stakeholder workshops and manage complex requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations
- Exposure to SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
- Experience in global template design and large-scale transformation programs
- Knowledge of industry best practices in project execution and asset management
- SAP certifications in PS or PM
