Job Title: Junior Linux/Middleware Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Junior Linux/Middleware Engineer to join our Service Build Engineering team. The role involves supporting infrastructure build and administration across RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka platforms. The engineer will ensure compliance, remediation, and operational stability while collaborating with senior engineers to deliver robust middleware solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform system administration and infrastructure build activities for Linux and middleware platforms.

  • Provide infrastructure support for RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka environments.

  • Implement compliance and remediation measures to meet organizational standards.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve middleware and database issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.

  • Document processes, configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.

  • Hands-on experience with RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.

  • Proficiency in Oracle and MySQL database administration.

  • Solid understanding of Unix shell scripting and SQL.

  • Experience in system administration, infrastructure build, and support.

  • Knowledge of compliance and remediation practices.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana).

  • Understanding of microservices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
