THE WORK:

Architecting and implementing cloud-based data warehousing and analytics solutions using Snowflake and selected major cloud providers (Microsoft, GCP, AWS).

Defining best practices for data governance, security, performance optimization, and cost efficiency in Snowflake environments.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams (data engineers, data scientists, and cloud architects) to deliver end-to-end data platform solutions.

Integrating Snowflake with broader cloud ecosystems, including data lakes, AI/ML frameworks, and visualization tools.

Advising clients on modernization strategies, including migration from legacy on-prem databases to Snowflake-based architectures.

Supporting pre-sales and solutioning activities, including estimation, proof-of-concepts, and technology assessments.

Staying up to date with Snowflake innovations (e.g., Snowpark, Native Apps, Unistore, Cortex) and industry trends in data and AI.

Collaborating across all crucial stages of project development with business analysts, source system experts, data architects, engineers, and product owners.

Proposing and defending effective, consistent solutions that balance strategic development and existing architecture.

Communicating and documenting work clearly, considering performance and cost factors in design decisions.
Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client or in an Accenture office – depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with Snowflake, including performance tuning, security configuration, data sharing, and automation.
Experience designing and implementing data platforms on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Expertise in SQL, data modeling (3NF, star and snowflake schemas), and ELT/ETL design patterns.
Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for data transformation, orchestration, and automation.
Knowledge of cloud data architecture concepts, including lakehouse architectures, API integration, and event-driven systems.
Experience with data governance, metadata management, and compliance frameworks.
Experience applying CI/CD and DevOps practices for data workflows.
Ability to communicate technical solutions to business and technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Snowflake advanced features (Snowpark, Native Apps, Streamlit in Snowflake).
Familiarity with machine learning or GenAI integration within data platforms.
Experience with modern data stack tools (e.g., Fivetran, Databricks, Dataiku, Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Exposure to data mesh or data fabric architectures.
Understanding of cost optimization and FinOps principles.
Experience leading enterprise data modernization initiatives.
Snowflake or major cloud provider certifications.
