Snowflake Solution Architect

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with Snowflake, including performance tuning, security configuration, data sharing, and automation.

• Experience designing and implementing data platforms on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Expertise in SQL, data modeling (3NF, star and snowflake schemas), and ELT/ETL design patterns.

• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for data transformation, orchestration, and automation.

• Knowledge of cloud data architecture concepts, including lakehouse architectures, API integration, and event-driven systems.

• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and compliance frameworks.

• Experience applying CI/CD and DevOps practices for data workflows.

• Ability to communicate technical solutions to business and technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Snowflake advanced features (Snowpark, Native Apps, Streamlit in Snowflake).

• Familiarity with machine learning or GenAI integration within data platforms.

• Experience with modern data stack tools (e.g., Fivetran, Databricks, Dataiku, Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

• Exposure to data mesh or data fabric architectures.

• Understanding of cost optimization and FinOps principles.

• Experience leading enterprise data modernization initiatives.

• Snowflake or major cloud provider certifications.
