Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Linux System Admin. As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for administering Linux servers across physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructures.
Qualifications
Expert proficiency in Linux system administration in enterprise environments.
+2 years of hands-on experience managing Linux servers (SUSE, Red Hat, CentOS, Oracle Linux) and Solaris.
Advanced knowledge of patch management solutions such as Red Hat Satellite, SUSE Manager, and Oracle Smart Management Hub (OSMH).
Experience in virtualized environments using VMware technologies (ESXi, SRM, NSX, vRealize) and Oracle VM.
Strong understanding of storage management and logical volume management (LVM).
Proficient in scripting for automation and system management in Linux environments.
Relevant certifications in Linux, virtualization, or systems management.
Fluent in Portuguese; advanced technical English.
Responsibilities
Design and deploy complex Linux-based solutions in large enterprise environments.
Administer Linux servers across physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructures.
Optimize and automate operational processes using various tools and scripting languages.
Monitor system performance and implement proactive optimization measures.
Manage patching processes and ensure correct, automated patch application.
Implement and maintain security policies, update mechanisms, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
Document technical procedures and produce regular health and capacity reports.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with hybrid and cloud infrastructure integration.
Experience with high-availability setups and clustering in Linux environments.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
Exposure to DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Intermediate to advanced Spanish.
