THE WORK: Are you ready to be an SME in Electrical Engineering, collaborate with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions? Engage with various teams and provide innovative solutions to challenges. Join us in this exciting opportunity!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems for various projects

  • Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and regulations

  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations

  • Provide technical write-ups, electrical drawing development and markups

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables efficiently

  • Identify and implement innovative electrical engineering solutions

  • Perform site inspections, testing, and commissioning as required

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the resource sector

  • Strong knowledge of Australian electrical codes and safety standards

  • Advanced proficiency in project management and team leadership

  • Intermediate proficiency in electrical design software e.g.

  • Electrical Transient and Analysis Program (ETAP), CablePro etc.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365

  • Intermediate proficiency in electrical design for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and instrumentation

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD

  • Advanced proficiency in MATLAB

  • Expert proficiency in project management
