Job Description
We have innovative threat modelling capabilities that are revolutionising the way our clients understand cyber threats, how they impact their most critical business applications, and how to architect security controls to be more cyber resilient.
As a Threat Modelling Lead, you will be an emerging leader, creating, nurturing and executing a shared vision of better security architecture and engineering for our clients. You will help lead, manage and grow the team to perform threat modelling services in collaboration with our global and local teams and deliver high value cyber security insights to our clients.
You will be part of a highly motivated team that focuses on analysing, researching, developing, and delivering security advisory services in alignment to best practices that help our customers improve their threat and risk posture, reduce adversary landscape, and strengthen their business resilience and operations. Your threat modelling engagements will add significant value to the world’s biggest technology transformations and give you exposure to the breadth of our Accenture teams and our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the ongoing development and innovation of the threat modelling capability across Australia and New Zealand, growing a high-value, successful business.
Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of the cyber threat landscape and how those threats could impact your clients.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of security architecture processes, patterns and trends; designing innovative cyber defence controls to help your clients manage their risk.
Foster positive stakeholder relationships and work in collaboration with our global and local teams to understand a client’s challenges and help design and deliver innovative security solutions.
Develop commercial proposals and statements of work to engage with your clients.
Lead and coordinate the successful delivery of threat modelling engagements for your clients.
Leverage skills, experience and subject matter expertise to serve clients in a consultative role as well as in a technical capacity
Lead pilots and proof-of-concept engagements to help clients create innovative security solutions through the use of new and emerging technologies
Mentor, coach, supervise and develop team members
Facilitate knowledge transfer and learning opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and experience
Support efforts to identify, interview and hire talented professionals into the Secure Application Development domain
Beneficial Experience:
Have lead project delivery teams
Have conducted or delivered threat modelling
Obtained relevant security industry certifications such as CTMP, CISSP, GCIA, CISA, CISM
Familiar with security standards and frameworks such as ISO27000 Series, NIST CSF, and ASD ISM
An active AGSVA clearance or willingness to obtain and retain an Australian Government security clearance
Experience in incident response and analysis in a security operation centre environment
Cyber threat intelligence experience
Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in leading teams and delivering projects
Demonstrated interest in security, security architecture and cyber threats.
Strong organisational, critical thinking and security analytical skills; ability to identify threats, security gaps in applications and provide recommendations and effective mitigation strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage and maintain collaborative relationship with clients, executives, and team members effectively
Be proactive in supporting team members and the greater security teams to navigate through challenges to issue resolution.
