Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Assistant Structures Representative, ANS
THE WORK:
- You’ll assist the Structure Representative with various construction activities and represent the client.
- You’ll read and interpret plans, specifications, and other construction documents.
- You’ll review submittals, including shop drawings, product data, test samples, and construction work plans.
- You’ll ensure approved materials are received and properly incorporated into the project.
- You’ll monitor, coordinate, and enforce construction compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- You’ll identify non‑compliant work and take appropriate action to bring it back into compliance.
- You’ll immediately report critical issues and potential delays to your supervisor.
- You’ll monitor and document all construction equipment, personnel, and activities.
- You’ll assist the Structure Representative and Resident Engineer in documenting project progress.
- You’ll perform calculations from plans to verify the location, layout, line, and grade of various elements.
- You’ll respond to Contractor Requests for Information (RFIs).
- You’ll ensure all changes and modifications are noted on the final plans.
- You’ll facilitate safety meetings and other team meetings.
- You’ll communicate and coordinate effectively with contractors, agencies, clients, and regulatory entities, including activities such as sampling/testing construction materials and construction staking/surveying.
- You’ll perform constructability reviews of contract design plans.
$176,800 - $228,800 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience on public works or transportation projects, with at 5+ years of experience in structural work
- Working knowledge of Caltrans Bridge Construction procedures, Standard Specifications, and relevant manuals (e.g., Falsework Manual)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; familiarity with structure-specific forms and templates a plus
- Valid California driver’s license and ability to work on active construction sites
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- EIT certification or on track for PE license
- Experience with cast-in-place post-tensioned box girder bridge construction, falsework, temporary shoring, and retaining walls
- Caltrans Structure Rep training or familiarity with METS processes
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Experience with alternate delivery methods such as CMGC
