Role: Wireless Architect (Manager)

 

Role Description:

 

Responsible for architecting wireless solutions in Enterprise and Industrial environment.

The role will also be responsible for leading detailed design, implementation, pilot testing, migration, training and initial support during the handover and acceptance period.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Operate as a lead wireless architect for enterprise and Industrial wireless transformation opportunities.
  • Ability to translate business requirements in to high level technical requirement in context of technology and customer trends.
  • Review the RFPs and RFIs and prepare a high-quality response with attention to detail.
  • Engage with client’s senior executives in network and security domain to develop the enterprise and industrial wireless architecture.
  • Lead and participate in client presentations and orals.
  • Develop technical design documentation such as high-level design, low level design, bill of material (BoM), configuration templates.
  • Maintains knowledge of evolving technology trends and apply those to develop innovative solutions approaches to deliver value for our clients.
  • Willingness to travel with flexibility to work in global time zone.

Professional Skill Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience on large infrastructure projects involving Wireless and Network transformation. 
  • 4+ years Design and Implementation skills in wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, 5G, LTE.
  • Prior experience in implementation of wireless solution for mining, manufacturing or Infra projects such as smart cities.
  • Knowledge of leading wireless technologies vendors such as Cisco, Aruba etc.
  • Experience in integration with Cisco/Juniper/HP routing and switching, Cisco ISE, Cisco prime Infrastructure, Cisco/Aruba wireless products.
  • Build cut-over/implementation plan in compliance with client's change management process.
  • Project management and ITIL knowledge with focus on change management.
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills with a focus on quality.
  • Knowledge of Cloud, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.

Desirable:

  • Experience in WAN optimization and load balancing.
  • Good knowledge of networking and security products from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5.
  • Knowledge of cloud, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
  • Working knowledge of MS Project

Certifications (not all are required):

  • CCNP/JNCIP, CCDP, JNCIE/CCIE Wireless (a plus), AWS, Azure, ITIL, TOGAF
