Job Summary

In this role, you will support the design and delivery of agentic commerce transformation initiatives for Consumer Goods and Retail clients — helping organizations adapt to a new model of customer engagement where AI-powered agents, conversational interfaces, and intelligent systems are increasingly shaping how products are discovered, evaluated, and purchased. As customer journeys evolve beyond traditional digital channels, organizations must rethink how their products, content, platforms, and data are structured to perform within AI-driven environments. Working as part of a multidisciplinary GN SONG consulting team, you will help clients improve how their products show up across digital channels, AI interfaces, and partner ecosystems — while building the data, platform, and analytics foundations needed to support next-generation commerce experiences.

Digital and Agentic Commerce (Consumer Goods, Retail & Travel)

Roles & Responsibilities

As part of these, you will support and contribute to the following:

  • Agentic commerce transformation support: Contribute to initiatives that help Consumer Goods and Retail clients adapt their commerce strategies for an AI-driven environment — where intelligent agents and conversational interfaces play a growing role in how products are discovered and transacted.
  • Digital commerce and platform assessment: Assist in evaluating client digital commerce capabilities — including product data quality, platform integrations, and content structure — identifying gaps that impact performance across traditional and AI-driven discovery environments.
  • Data and AI readiness: Support the structuring and preparation of product and customer data to enable analytics, personalization, and AI use cases — helping clients build the data foundations needed for intelligent, next-generation commerce experiences.
  • Digital platform and ecosystem integration: Support documentation and analysis of data flows, platform integrations, and digital ecosystems — collaborating with engineering and technology teams to ensure data is accessible, well-structured, and ready to support agentic interactions.
  • AI discoverability and content optimization: Work with GEO, content, and technology teams to improve how client products and content are structured for AI-driven discovery — ensuring alignment between content strategy, platform architecture, and emerging AI search standards.
  • Governance and compliance support: Assist in establishing quality assurance and monitoring frameworks for digital commerce data — ensuring outputs align with privacy, compliance, and brand safety requirements across markets.
  • Client collaboration and delivery support: Work as part of a multidisciplinary consulting team — supporting research, analysis, documentation, client workshops, and preparation of presentations and deliverables that drive forward transformation initiatives.

Professional & Technical Skills

  • Experience supporting digital transformation or commerce-related initiatives in Consumer Goods or Retail, with an understanding of how products, platforms, and data drive commercial outcomes.
  • Familiarity with digital commerce platforms and ecosystems — including product data management, content operations, and channel integration across D2C and marketplace environments.
  • Interest in and developing awareness of AI-driven commerce, agentic experiences, and conversational interfaces — and how these are reshaping customer journeys in CGRT.
  • Ability to analyze data and digital performance, identify gaps, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for client and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills — with the ability to simplify complex digital and AI concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across strategy, technology, content, and analytics teams in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Additional Information

  • MBA/PGDM from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution preferred; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in consulting, digital strategy, or digital commerce within the Consumer Goods or Retail industry.
  • Experience working on digital transformation, customer experience, or platform-related initiatives is required.
  • Exposure to AI-driven customer experiences, conversational interfaces, or emerging digital ecosystem trends is preferred.
  • Prior experience collaborating with engineering or technology teams on platform or data readiness initiatives is an advantage.
  • Comfortable with travel as required by client engagements.
