As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning applications and data to cloud environments. This role requires careful planning and execution of migration strategies that ensure scalability and high performance. The engineer collaborates with various teams to design and implement solutions that leverage both private and public cloud technologies, aiming to support innovative business goals and enhance operational efficiency. Throughout the day, the focus remains on delivering seamless migration experiences that align with organizational objectives and future growth.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and execution of migration plans ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align cloud migration activities with organizational priorities.
- Mentor junior team members to support their growth and integration within the migration projects.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in TIBCO Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Cloud Compute Services.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure components and migration methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications and services.
- Experience in managing and monitoring cloud environments to ensure reliability and performance.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline migration processes.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in TIBCO Administration.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
