Job Title: Senior Murex Developer - Datamart Reporting

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Murex Developer specializing in Datamart Reporting to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of reporting solutions within the Murex ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Murex Datamart architecture, reporting workflows, and database technologies. This role involves collaborating with business users, risk teams, finance teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver accurate and scalable reporting solutions for treasury and capital markets operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Murex Datamart reporting solutions.
  • Support data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes for treasury and trading systems.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and reporting scripts across Oracle and SQL Server environments.
  • Collaborate with business users and analysts to gather reporting requirements and implement technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reporting, performance, and data reconciliation issues.
  • Support batch processing, scheduling, and report generation activities.
  • Develop automation scripts and utilities using Java and Python where required.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with operational standards.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing activities, and release deployments.
  • Prepare technical documentation, support guides, and operational reports.

Required Skills:

  • 6-9 years of experience in Murex development and reporting environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Murex Datamart.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, and Linux environments.
  • Experience working with Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server 2012 environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience in financial systems reporting, data processing, and reconciliation activities.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
     

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in treasury, risk management, or capital markets systems.
  • Knowledge of financial products such as FX, derivatives, fixed income, or money market instruments.
  • Exposure to ETL processes, data warehousing, and reporting automation.
  • Familiarity with batch scheduling and enterprise reporting tools.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and production support processes.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization in large-scale reporting environments.
