AI Strategy & Engineering Consultant
Are you ready to elevate your career at the frontier of applied artificial intelligence?
At Accenture Strategy & Consulting, we help the world's leading organisations move from AI ambition to AI in production. This is your chance to join a team that thrives on innovation — where you will not only advise C-suite executives on their AI agenda, but personally build the agentic and generative-AI solutions that bring it to life. We offer a culture that nurtures your talent and celebrates diversity, helping you achieve your professional and personal goals sooner than you ever imagined.
Work You'll Do
As an AI Strategy & Engineering Consultant, you will sit at the intersection of advisory and hands-on engineering. Working alongside industry specialists and fellow engineers, you will design, prototype, and scale AI capabilities that deliver measurable business value for our clients. Here is what you can expect in this role:
Applied AI Delivery: Design and build agentic and generative-AI solutions — from multi-agent workflows and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to tool integration via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — taking them from proof of concept towards enterprise-grade deployment.
AI Advisory: Support C-level executives (CIO, CTO, CDO, CAIO) in shaping their AI strategy, prioritising use cases, and defining the operating model, governance, and platform choices needed to scale responsibly.
Solution Architecture: Contribute to the design of secure, vendor-agnostic AI architectures — including model abstraction layers, RAG patterns across vector and graph data stores, observability, and LLM cost management.
Client Engagement: Conduct interviews and working sessions with client stakeholders to uncover operational challenges, assess AI readiness, and identify high-value opportunities across their technology landscape.
Rapid Prototyping: Translate business problems into working AI prototypes at pace — testing feasibility and demonstrating value before committing to full-scale build.
Business Case Development: Help craft clear, actionable business cases and implementation roadmaps that align AI investments with industry best practice and measurable outcomes.
Global Collaboration: Draw on Accenture's global network of AI assets, accelerators, and specialists to bring leading-edge solutions to your clients and drive competitive advantage.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking ambitious, curious individuals who are excited by generative AI and want to combine technical work with client advisory. If you enjoy solving problems with AI and explaining your thinking to non-technical audiences in equal measure, this could be the role for you. The ideal candidate will have:
Academic Foundation: A BSc (distinction or honours preferred) from a top university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline. A relevant MSc is a plus.
Foundation in Software or Data: A grounding in software engineering, data, or a related technical field — you are comfortable writing code (Python is useful for AI work) and understand the basics of APIs and cloud services.
Interest in AI: A genuine curiosity about generative AI and how it creates value. You don't need to know everything on day one — some exposure to building with large language models (for example simple agents or RAG-based tools) is welcome, and familiarity with areas such as LangChain/LangGraph, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), semantic layers, vector databases, or LLM Ops is a bonus rather than a requirement.
Methodological Knowledge: Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and Design Thinking, and how they enable rapid, iterative delivery.
Business Acumen: The ability to connect technical solutions to business value and articulate a simple, compelling case for change.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in both Greek and English, including the ability to present technical concepts clearly to senior, non-technical stakeholders.
Mindset: A strong appetite for learning, comfort with ambiguity, and the drive to excel in a fast-paced, hands-on consultancy environment. An interest in mentoring or coordinating small teams is a plus.
