Job Summary
Accenture Strategy & Consulting is looking for a Ecommerce QA Specialist that would be responsible for validating martech configurations, integrations, and data flows to ensure stable marketing execution and reliable reporting outputs. This role sits within the the QA function and plays a critical part in maintaining platform integrity across CRM, automation, tagging, and reporting systems.
The successful candidate will partner closely with technical and marketing stakeholders to manage defects, support release governance, and drive QA process improvements. This role operates within a cross-functional team, collaborating across strategy, lifecycle execution, activation, creative enablement, analytics, and QA to deliver measurable marketing outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Martech Configuration & Integration QA: Validate martech configurations, triggers, integrations, and data flows that support campaign execution and reporting. Conduct end-to-end tests across adjacent systems including CRM, automation platforms, tagging, and reporting tools.
- Regression & Release Testing: Support regression and release testing cycles, producing QA evidence aligned to governance requirements. Ensure release readiness is clearly documented and signed off before deployment.
- Data Output Validation: Partner with reporting and analytics teams to validate data outputs and ensure measurement consistency across platforms and campaigns.
- Defect Management: Log, track, and manage defects across the testing lifecycle. Coordinate resolution with technical and marketing stakeholders, ensuring issues are prioritised and closed within acceptable timeframes.
- QA Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for QA automation and process enhancements to reduce recurring incidents, improve test coverage, and increase efficiency across the team.
Professional & Technical Skills
- 5–8+ years in martech QA, integration testing, or data-flow validation, with strong understanding of how martech platforms connect and interact.
- Skilled in test planning and regression disciplines, with a structured approach to managing test cycles and release readiness.
- Experienced in defect management, including logging, prioritisation, stakeholder coordination, and resolution tracking.
- Able to conduct cross-system validation across CRM, automation, tagging, and reporting platforms.
- Familiarity with QA automation tools and willingness to drive automation improvements to reduce manual effort.
- Understanding of data validation practices, ensuring accurate and consistent outputs across marketing and analytics systems.
- Awareness of privacy and consent frameworks as they relate to data flows and martech configuration.
