Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Data Engineer. As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making. We are looking for a professional with strong expertise in data engineering, cloud platforms, ETL/ELT development, and data governance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or related technical roles
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and automation
Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and workflows
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and modern data integration patterns
Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, and compliance principles
Experience managing databases and ensuring data reliability and performance
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
Fluent in English (C1 or above), with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows for structured and unstructured data
Build reusable frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and optimization
Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL
Deploy and support data solutions in production environments, ensuring reliability and performance
Automate data flows to enable efficient and seamless data consumption across the organization
Develop and maintain internal tools and applications to support data operations
Monitor data pipelines, data quality metrics, and system performance
Implement and promote best practices for data governance, data security, and data quality
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering processes and standards
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and data engineering best practices
Nice to Have
Cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar
Knowledge of big data technologies and distributed processing frameworks
Additional language skills, such as French
Experience working in international and multicultural environments
