Summary:
We are looking for a senior SAP Project System (PS) Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end customer project solutions, supporting revenue-generating, contract-driven project execution from sales through delivery, billing, and settlement. The role focuses on integrating SAP PS tightly with commercial, financial, and execution processes to ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost control, and profitable project delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
12–18 years of experience in SAP implementations, with at least 8 years focused on SAP PS in customer project / project-to-cash scenarios.
Strong solution architecture experience in SAP S/4HANA Project System, including WBS structures, project costing, budgeting, settlement, results analysis, and revenue recognition.
Proven experience designing order-to-project and project-to-cash processes integrating PS with SD, FI/CO, MM, PP, PM, and Asset Accounting.
Strong integration skills with customer-facing and project execution systems, such as Salesforce (CRM), CPQ, Engineering Information Management/Project Lifecycle Management, and project controls tools.
Experience leading PS architecture in large customer delivery programs, EPC projects, or contract-based project organizations.
Solid understanding of SAP integration patterns (APIs, SAP BTP/CPI, event-based integration).
Industry experience in Manufacturing, and/or EPC, engineering, construction, projects preferred.
Hands-on experience with SAP Activate and Fit-to-Standard for customer project scenarios.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with sales, project management, finance, and customers.
Ability to evaluate and apply emerging SAP capabilities to improve project profitability, forecasting, and delivery performance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Own the end-to-end SAP PS solution architecture for customer delivery projects, from contract award to final settlement.
Design integrated project-to-cash solutions covering project structuring, cost and revenue tracking, billing, and financial close.
Translate customer contracts, commercial terms, and delivery models into scalable SAP PS designs.
Define PS architectural standards for WBS, networks, milestones, revenue recognition, and settlement.
Ensure seamless integration between PS and:
o SD (sales orders, billing, milestones, revenue)
o FI/CO (cost control, margin analysis, financial close)
o MM (project procurement)
o External systems (Salesforce, Engineering, CPQ, project controls)
Guide functional consultants and developers through design, build, testing, and deployment phases.
Review and approve solution designs, functional specifications, and integration approaches.
Define data migration and cutover strategies for customer project structures and balances.
Support automation, analytics, and predictive project controls (forecasting, margin monitoring, risk detection).
Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on improving customer project delivery, profitability, and governance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP Project System (PS).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
