Summary:
As a Data Modeler, Supports the onshore Data Modeler in designing and refining enterprise data models by contributing to detailed schema definitions, field-level mappings, and source-to-target conversion documentation. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical data structures, with a strong focus on cloud-based data platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Assist in developing logical and physical data models, including schema design for reporting and analytical platforms
- Perform detailed field mapping between source and target systems to support data migration, integration, and transformation efforts
- Document and maintain source schema definitions, conversion rules, and data lineage artifacts
- Create and update Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) to represent data relationships in the Reporting Data Model
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries, including business definitions, data types, constraints, and metadata attributes
- Leverage strong exposure to AWS Data Services such as Amazon S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, and EMR to support cloud-based data modeling and transformation requirements
- Ensure data consistency, quality, and governance standards are adhered to across all modeling and documentation activities
- Partner with SMEs, developers, and business stakeholders to validate data structures and mapping logic
- Support impact analysis and change management for schema updates and enhancements

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, Teradata BI.
- Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable data models that support complex business requirements.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices to ensure data quality and consistency.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
