Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to understand requirements, iterating on application features, and refining configurations to optimize performance and usability. Attention to detail and adaptability are essential as the engineer navigates through complex challenges to deliver effective software solutions that support business operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture and development of frontend applications using Next.js
- Define scalable, reusable, and maintainable frontend architecture
- Establish coding standards and best practices
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality delivery
- Build server-side rendered (SSR), static (SSG), and hybrid applications
- Develop reusable components using React
- Optimize applications for performance, SEO, and accessibility
- Integrate APIs, microservices, and third-party platforms
- Implement caching strategies, lazy loading, and code splitting
- Improve Core Web Vitals and overall application performance
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Front End Development (FED) NextJS.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with React.js.
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js (App Router / Pages Router)
- Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript
- Deep understanding of React.js concepts (hooks, state management, lifecycle)
- Experience with SSR, SSG, ISR, and API routes
- State management (Redux, Zustand, Context API)
- Styling frameworks (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, Styled Components)
- Experience with component-driven development
- REST APIs and/or GraphQL integration
- Authentication (JWT, OAuth)
- Experience working with headless CMS platforms
- Version control using Git
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
-Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Vercel)
- Good to have experience with micro-frontend architecture
- Good to have knowledge of edge functions and CDN optimization
- Good to have familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress)

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Front End Development (FED) NextJS.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
