The data specialist will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between marketing data and business strategies. They will focus on building robust data models that facilitate effortless extraction of insights through automated dashboards and reports. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and optimize the marketing BI infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, establishing strong relationships, and designing efficient reporting and business process architectures. These efforts will enable rapid development of marketing intelligence solutions. Additionally, the Marketing Data Specialist will drive continuous improvement initiatives and take a lead role in coordinating data ingestion activities and enhancing the data model to meet the requirements of the marketing data management.
What are we looking for? • Bachelor s degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Information Technology, Analytics, or a related discipline • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role • Extensive experience in developing solutions using Alteryx, Python, Power Automate, SQL and Power BI • Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset and resourcefulness • In-depth understanding and knowledge of data structures, modelling, and architecture • Previous experience in developing products using agile methodologies and adopting agile ways of working • Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering • Experience in requirement gathering and designing enterprise reporting solutions from scratch • Proactively assess existing workflows, reports, and data pipelines to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for automation or simplification • Leverage data, metrics, and user feedback to measure process performance and prioritize improvement initiatives with clear business impact • Standardize repeatable processes and reporting patterns to reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and improve scalability across markets and teams • Experience in building and scaling BI teams and processes • Drive adoption of best practices, tools, and templates by sharing learnings and improvements with stakeholders and broader delivery teams • Continuously review and refine controls, validation checks, and governance mechanisms to strengthen data quality, reliability, and audit readiness • Support a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing ways of working and encouraging innovation within agreed governance and risk frameworks • Overseeing team goals, resources, performance, and development while guiding and supporting individual growth, skill enhancement, and career advancement within the team
Roles and Responsibilities: • Automate the process of transforming and cleaning unstructured marketing data as needed by visualization developers using a range of tools including Alteryx, SQL, Python and MS Power Automate. Knowledge of working in MS fabric / Azure would be advantageous • Identify optimal data storage solutions, such as SharePoint & BLOB • Product ownership of the Total Reporting suite involving a holistic view of managing the product, focusing on strategy alignment, customer value and sustainable growth over time • Perform feasibility analysis, develop proof of concept BI solutions, and provide consultative recommendations to stakeholders to support data driven decision making • Maintain up-to-date internal processes and documentation of quality standards to ensure adherence to process controls and audits aligned with marketing standards • Responsible for creating a project management plan and ensuring adherence to project timelines • Integrate multiple data sources into one visualization to tell a story • Establishing data governance checkpoints while identifying and validating data sources to ensure their availability, completeness, accuracy, and alignment with the operating model • Partnering with Data Platform leaders and cross functional stakeholders to understand end to end data flows and identify, onboard, and integrate new data sources into BI tools such as Power BI • Consolidating data requirements while engaging with BusOps and Share Reporting teams to ensure data availability and accuracy and providing consultation on best practices and optimal data solutions
