As an SAP PP Team Lead at Accenture, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Production Planning (PP) solutions that support business transformation and operational excellence. You will assess current manufacturing and supply chain processes, capture business requirements, and define technology-enabled solutions that drive efficiency and business value. As a subject matter expert in SAP PP, you will collaborate with stakeholders, lead project workstreams, and provide guidance on complex business and system challenges. Advanced proficiency in SAP Production Planning is essential, with recommended expertise in SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and cross-functional integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of SAP PP solutions that align with business objectives and manufacturing requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in SAP Production Planning, providing guidance and solutions to complex production planning and execution challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP PP and related modules such as MM, SD, QM, PM, and EWM.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements, validate solution designs, and drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Configure and optimize SAP PP processes, including Demand Management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.
  • Develop functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, and training materials to support project delivery and user adoption.
  • Lead and support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Support cutover planning, go-live activities, hypercare, and post-implementation support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Continuously assess manufacturing and supply chain processes, identifying opportunities for improvement through SAP S/4HANA capabilities and industry best practices.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging SAP technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance operational performance and business value.
  • Ensure SAP PP solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with organizational standards and strategic objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in SAP Production Planning (PP), including implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP Production Planning (PP) within SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, demand management, capacity planning, and shop floor execution.
  • Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into scalable SAP PP solutions.
  • Experience integrating SAP PP with related modules such as MM, SD, QM, PM, EWM, and other SAP solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end SAP project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and lead workstreams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience engaging business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, conducting fit-gap analysis, and developing functional specifications and process documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Certified Application Associate or Professional certification in SAP Production Planning or SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing.
  • Experience leading SAP PP workstreams in large-scale global transformation or SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
  • Familiarity with SAP PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) and advanced manufacturing planning processes.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori applications and manufacturing-related analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and SAP Activate project management practices.
  • Experience in manufacturing industries such as Automotive, Industrial Products, Consumer Goods, Chemicals, or Process Manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements, optimize production operations, and identify opportunities for innovation through SAP technologies.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants and leading small to medium-sized project teams.
