Accenture was named a Leader in the Everest Group Procurement Outsourcing (PO) Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2021. This annual report measures providers by market impact. It also assesses vision & capability, which is the ability to deliver services successfully. Accenture earned the top spot among all 19 providers.

A common theme throughout the report centers on Accenture’s ongoing investments and the benefits they enable. For example, integrating source-to-pay capabilities across services helps clients digitally transform their procurement function to gain comprehensive spend management across direct and indirect spending. Building a robust digital ecosystem gives clients a way to transform quickly and at scale by tapping into partnerships with third-party technology providers.

Accenture has also been embedding automation, advanced analytics and market intelligence in its SynOps platform across the source-to-pay process. This is allowing clients to see across their procurement process and find opportunities for synergies and efficiencies.

Delivering 360° Value

As companies increasingly focus on sustainable sourcing and procurement practices, Accenture is already building additional capabilities to help. The report notes that this includes helping clients incorporate responsible sourcing practices, adopt resource-efficient business models and reduce their carbon footprints. It also includes developing digital solutions to efficiently source direct materials across categories.
