I started working at Accenture in September 2017 at a global retailer in a SAP implementation project. In the beginning I worked primarily as a Business Analyst within the design phase and also as a tester during the test phase. However I got the opportunity to work as a Test Lead from 2019 and have been working with it since. This role is less technical than my previous roles and is more about Project Management. The role is more about following up, reporting status and creating the best conditions to execute the testing for the testers. It is really fun and I am very happy to have been given the role and working with Project Management which is something that I really find inspiring. It is fun to work in an environment where you learn every day.

The morning usually starts with some alignment meetings with the team where I follow up regarding the status of our work, and how I can help. After that I look into my mailbox and try to follow up with the other teams. In the afternoon I usually have some status reporting meetings where I give updates to the project management about our progress and they also update me on what is important to focus on and if there are any big news.

If I would offer any advice I would say to always be curious and open for new opportunities, at a company as Accenture there are so many opportunities and so many fun things to do. The most interesting thing is that sometimes you take on opportunities that you might have been unsure about, but then when you actually try something new – you find them really fun.
