Job Description: 

The Eventsdigital experience platform architect provides strategic leadership and helps shape the digital events platform architecture to stand up virtual events. The vision of the platform is to encompass all aspects of events management via digital content and flexible integration with Third party API’s and PaaS / SaaS to enable digital operational functions like Video streaming, AV Fidelity, platform security, performance, compatibility, scalability, and top-notch user experience for users.  
 

This candidate will participate in stakeholder north star meetings, engineering planning sessions, run workshops / design thinking sessions program leads, product owners, and engineers to scope, architect and build out the 
 
The candidate will have deep experience with cloud-based architectures, customer centric engineering models, video/audio platform architecture experience, and cross platform integration experience. 

This position will have accountabilities in the following areas: 

 

  • Trusted advisor to Product Owners, Business Leaders, IT Engineers and delivery teams. 
  • Prioritizing Event platform core capabilities based on customer needs, customer experience, business value 
  • Deliver education and demos to share Accenture’s engineering capabilities of the platform and value achieved.  

 
The work: 

  • Advise functional and technical teams on how to maximize the value of digital events platforms, architectures, and engagement methods  
  • Collaboratively shape the north star vision, strategy, and OKRs with stakeholders to create clarity on building a world class Digital Events service and function within Customers, Partners, Consumers, and Employees  
  • Draw on Accenture’s digital events experience across industries and clients, to bring the “best of” to through meetings and workshops in how to stand up, operate, and support Digital Events services that delight users 
  • Engage product management across the end-to-end digital event user journey(s) encouraging rapid experimentation across digital event operations, support, content, security, engineering, and digital platform democratization with a bias towards speed-to-market and end user experience  
  • Create manage, the strategic roadmap and backlog of digital event initiatives from early ideation to scaled service delivery working closely with enterprise technical, functional, leaders to prioritize 
  • Drive definition on service and platform analytics that support measures and metrics across value, user sentiment, and performance

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of digital platform and strategy experience  
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience 

 

Bonus points if: 

  • Experience with digital and hybrid events for diverse and multi-geo end-user communities  
  • Standing up innovation centers of excellence or studio with cross org participation with a blend of sustaining innovation and disruptive innovation  
  • Led teams with responsibilities to support and operate large scale high availability content delivery functions 
  • Post-event nurture and remarketing   

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $132,700- $165,199k and information on benefits offered is here.
